This is a US political statement 100%. Heading toward the 2022 midterm elections, I finally had enough of the nonsense and decided to put this piece together. The characters obviously representing both political parties in a battle about "ethics" or whatever our politicians think that word means. The blown out brick wall representing the collapse of our democracy with the elephant dumping fuel on the fire. From the bribes on the top shelf to the save the date and calendar marked with a heart over 1/6/20 being literal interpretations of current events. To the donkey with the "woke" propeller cap standing next to the "bi-partisan" sign. With the stairway to a closed off heavens gate being the final destination for everyone who has participated in the shit show we call US politics. I know this piece may be a little controversial but hopefully we can come together and enjoy the humor in all of this.
